La Casermetta guest house comes to life thanks to an entrepreneurial idea of a local family and their desire to welcome people from all over the world to Santa Maria Maggiore. The property is an historic Villa built in the 1800s, used as a military base for many years and recently renovated to enhance its historic splendor and adapt it to the present day.
